General information

Etilaam (Etizolam) 1mg is an effective anti-anxiety medicine that is similar to benzodiazepine class of medicines. It is used for the management of anxiety and short-term treatment of insomnia (sleeplessness).
Etizolam (marketed under many brand names) is a thienodiazepine derivative  which is a benzodiazepine analog. The etizolam molecule differs from a benzodiazepine in that the benzene ring has been replaced by a thiophene ring and triazole ring has been fused, making the drug a thienotriazolodiazepine. It possesses amnesic, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, hypnotic, sedative and skeletal muscle relaxant properties. It was patented in 1972 and approved for medical use in 1983. Etilaam (Etizolam) 1mg produces effects similar to those of benzodiazepines. In most cases,Etilaam (Etizolam) 1mg  serves as an anticonvulsive and anti-anxiety medication. Overall, Etilaam (Etizolam) 1mg users experience sedative-hypnotic effects and muscle relaxation. However, Etilaam (Etizolam) 1mg is far more potent than the benzodiazepines with which many patients are familiar. In clinical experiments using animal subjects, researchers found that Etizolam is 6 to 10 times stronger than diazepam (commonly known as Valium) in nearly all effects.

Etilaam (Etizolam) 1mg is marketed under different names depending on the country. This medication is also known as:

  • Etizola;
  • Sedekopan;
  • Pasaden;
  • Zepas;
  • Etizest.

Directions and Medicinal Uses of Etilaam (Etizolam) 1mg

The medicinal uses of Etilaam (Etizolam) 1mg in countries where it is prescribed are similar to the medicinal uses of benzodiazepines like Xanax.

Taking these drugs results in:

  • A significant decline in subjective feelings of anxiety;
  • Relaxation and sedation;
  • Overall down of physical and mental processes.

Common medicinal uses for both drugs include:

  • To reduce anxiety in individuals who have anxiety disorders;
  • To enhance or induce sleep;
  • To control seizures.

Other medicinal uses include capitalizing on their potential anesthetic effects, being used as skeletal muscle relaxants, and in the treatment of other issues with anxiety that occur in neurological and other psychiatric disorders aside from anxiety disorders (e.g., depression).
In a study that compared the effectiveness of etizolam, alprazolam, and bromazepam for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder, all three drugs retained their effectiveness over 2 weeks, but ETIZOLAM became more effective from 2 weeks to 4 weeks, a type of reverse tolerance.
